Against the backdrop of a booming healthcare sector, which has been catalyzed by the recent pandemic, the sector has seen an influx of start-ups, with young entrepreneurial teams from home and abroad making their mark in various areas such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and healthcare services. The other side of the entrepreneurial story is that the healthcare sector is staying hot with increasing capital investment. We are seeing an increasing number of medical students also choosing to join the ranks of entrepreneurship or investment, providing a more professional perspective and viewpoint.
To further explore the thoughts and insights of medical students on this transformational path, Harvard China Healthcare Club, in collaboration with Tsinghua i-Space, co-hosted the event "Entrepreneurial Insights: Venture Capital Career Sharing for Medical Students" to share with guests their thoughts on entrepreneurship, investment, and career paths through online interviews.
The event invited Mr. Duan Xinchen, who is a Master of Clinical Trials from Harvard University, a member of the Presidium of Harvard China Healthcare Club, a current early-stage investor of USD Top VC, a former founder and CEO of a start-up medical CRO, and a former Harvard campus representative of ZhenFund.
