Seminar between Harvard University and Wuhan University

The Covid-19 has spread globally and has become a common challenge facing mankind. China is still strictly controlling the epidemic for a second rebound. On the other side of Oceania, the number of infections in the United States is also rising rapidly. Although the two countries have different political systems, social cultures, and the progress of the Covid-19 is at different stages, science can cross national boundaries and become the common language of all countries at this moment.


On April 5th, the Taikang Public Health,Epidemic Prevention Fund and Harvard University, Wuhan University and other important scientific research institutes jointly organized the "China-US Medical System Response to the Covid-19 " academic seminar, which was co-organized by the HCCHC. Top experts from the academic circles of China and the United States, with an objective and fair attitude, the responsibility and wisdom of scholars, on the current development and prevention of the epidemic, China’s experience in the prevention and control of the epidemic, the latest developments in drug and vaccine research and development, public health system construction, and international cooperation in prevention and control Topics such as support from civil forces were fully discussed and exchanged.

Online Public Health Promotion

The Covid-19 still rages in China, at the same time, various staff stay on the job. During this pandemic, the most frequent word we heard from Weibo, WeChat and TV, is Public health. Considering the pandemic, graduates and alumni come from Harvard University (ranked as 2nd in Public Health realm), John Hopkins University (ranked as 1st in Public Health realm), University of Washington, Tulane University, these four universities with high fame in the globe, volunteered to set up this seminar. We hope to talk about the Public Health major with you stay at another side of the screen.
